Yay, Friday!

Sorry for the hiatus. Now that the big pain in the rear convention is over and I'm done bitching about it, I can get back to more interesting and fun things.

It's Friday and it's raining here, but I don't teach on Fridays and that's awesome.

On the medical front, I found out yesterday that all of my blood work came back normal and I am very happy about that. No clotting disorders, Lupus or protein issues. Yay me! Unfortunately, my body is starting to show some signs that I might be peri menopausal, so that's a bit discouraging. To make me laugh about my impending old hagishness, Matt keeps quoting Raising Arizona...

"Edwina's insides were a rocky place where my seed could find no purchase." Yeah, thanks sweetie...

In the meantime, I have a three-year-old who keeps me plenty busy. His most recent thing is his inability to shut his brain off at bedtime. He gets into bed at 8 p.m. but often remains awake until 10 or 10:30 p.m. To say it puts a damper on our evenings is putting it mildly. Good thing he's cute.

Orobe

Okay, I do have a bit of grading and administrative stuff to do before I try to take the afternoon off (well, not really - I have to clean the house. Wheeeee!).
